PINK SATURDAY and Saluting Tobi

tobi

I had an entirely different Pink Saturday post planned for this week until I reread a recent post from Tobi Fairley.  Instead, I decided that “pink fans” needed to share in the beauty of her what she had to show us.

tobi hb Tobi is an incredibly talented young interior designer in Little Rock, Arkansas.  If you are a House Beautiful subscriber or fan, the cover of the most recent issue is one of her “rooms.”  That’s a big deal!  Having a national magazine choose one of your designs for the cover of its magazine IS a huge deal.

Tobi’s parents and I grew up together.  Her mom and I were good friends and graduated from high school together.  Her dad, and he may not EVEN remember this, was my very FIRST “date”...his grandparents took us to the movies.

Tobi and my daughter were in college together; Tobi was daughter’s “Big Sis” in the Kappa House at the U of A (that’s ARKANSAS by the way).  Even then, she had the most creatively decorated room in the house.  I mean, what CAN you do with so many limitations!  Hers was always soooooo cute.

I thought you would enjoy touring Tobi’s favorite pinks today.  Hers are far more creative than mine:)  So here’s Tobi’s number 1 on her list of things she loves….

Congrats, Tobi.  We are all very proud of you.

  1. Wow, What beautiful pink rooms, they are great. I would love that if hubby would go along....he already tells everyone he lives in Barney's belly (purple).
