MENU PLAN MONDAY – March 8

It’s another busy week in our household.  How about yours?  Aren’t there times when you just want to yell out, “Hold the world. I’m coming! ”  I’m looking for comfort and variety this week and think that I can accomplish both without undo stress.

Truth is, I have it so much easier than some of you.  We are a two-person, empty-nester household.  Hubby eats just about anything except liver or mushrooms.  However, we both have busy careers and lots of community and church commitments.  Just like you.  Without the babies. 

Although, our babies these days come in the form of grandchildren.  The Perfect Ones.  (Just in case you didn’t know.)  Whatever time they want of ours, they can have.

Here’s what is posted on the menu board for this week:

Monday:  Italian meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli. 

Tuesday:  Hubby has a bank board meeting.  I will be eating a meatloaf sandwich.  Is there another reason to make a meatloaf?  I’ll be reheating some homemade mac n’ cheese to go along with that.

(Is she just not the cutest thing!) 

Wednesday:  Dance and date night.  Cha. Cha. Cha.

Thursday:  Craving Ellie in My Belly’s pork tenderloin from last week.  (Hubby and I went to see Perfect Boy in Farnahan’s Circus last week ….what a hoot.  We missed posting to CEIMB.  We are making up for it this week.)

Friday:  Hubby’s choice.  He’s cooking:)

Saturday:  dinner out.
